This hand-drawn artwork in shades of yellow and black is created using my signature ink technique.
In this work I explore the theme of memory, here symbolized as stones. For me, stones, as elements of nature, hold within them a knowledge of the past and represent the unchanging nature of truth in a world that often undergoes transformation. In this way, they become a metaphor for memory that reaches far back in time, while also revealing how fragile and ephemeral human perception of reality can be. The truth contained in a stone is unaltered and untainted by human interpretation. To me, a stone preserves the purest truth, one that does not come from any source or fragment of human memory. It is absolutely untouched by human experiences and perceptions of the world. This is a pure form of truth that exists beyond our limitations and errors.
Signed in pencil on both sides for authenticity, this artwork can be displayed individually or alongside other works creating a cohesive and reflective visual experience that enriches any space.
